The two 09's were on static display outside of the PLOG Shed |
|
Crompton 33 002 runs round its train at Buckfastleigh North End
We wonder why so many diesel crews insist on wearing high viz
clothing when driving. Strange but true!
Opposite: the Yorky and D2246 were operating a Driver for a Fiver,
within the station limits, in aid of the Poppy Day Appeal. Here they wait
for customers in between scheduled service trains. |
|
|
Is this a volunteer driver of the future? A life long love of railways can start
at such a tender age and any footplate visit is an unforgettable experience. |
The Yorky passes the 04 on its way back with a Driver For a Fiver on board.
Andy Matthews is seen practicing take off proceedures in his
newly acquired Paragliding jacket. |
|
This young lady appears to have enjoyed her diesel driving experience.
Opposite: Just for the cameras the SDR's entire diesel shunter fleet
of five loco's were lined up in the loop. Another SDR first? |
