Blackawton School in the South Hams spent several hours at the South Devon Railway visiting the Museum, WW2 garden and investigating a WW2 ambulance.  The children were learning about wartime Britain and had arrived on a steam train from Totnes Littlehempston Station dressed as evacuees.  During their visit they completed many tasks such as writing a letter home to their parents and took part in a Museum quiz before returning by steam train to Totnes.
