These photographs of the various trains running during
both days
of the 1940's Gala Weekend were created by
my good friend
Julian Moore, a photographer based in
Plymouth.
Julian captured 5322
hauling goods, military
and passenger services, plus the other locomotives
on duty
whilst I remained at Buckfastleigh
to catch the
military and civilian activity.
